My First Video: Greatness Costs

Greetings to my old and new readers. Today is a fun day…My first video is up and running and already getting good responses from Facebook and YouTube. I’ll be honest, I was a bit nervous and it took me 5 tries to get it going, but I did it and I’ll do more. The production costs are zero and it will be fun.

I was very inspired by my trip to Eric Worre’s GoPro Recruiting Event the first week of Dec. So, watching him and Ray Higdon on their respective sites give advice on videos, I decided to expand and attempt the same. I’ve always been the helping type and I’ve found myself in a profession that allows me to help and teach others to grow and develop on a personal and financial level.

Don’t think for a second I’ll be as good as them, but they set a wonderful example for me to strive for. My goal…be better today, than I was yesterday. And as Jarrod Wilkins said, Greatness costs what it costs and I advise you to check out his speech at the GoPro Event.

Things to Come…

From December 5th thru the 8th, I attended the GoPro Network Marketing Pro Recruiting Mastery Event put on by Eric Worre. It was an amazing event and gave me some wonderful ideas and it really changed my outlook and belief in what I have and what I have to offer people and what I can do to help others. In the coming weeks I’ll be writing about some topics and nuggets I found from this event and a few stories that will help you and myself learn more.

Highlights from the Event:

  • Activity will grow the roots for you business to rely upon for the future
  • People by the “why” before they buy the what and how
  • Greatness never goes on Sale
  • I AM GOOD ENOUGH!!! Sell yourself
  • It’s selfish to fear rejection
  • All Excuses are evil
  • Action kills pain and cures problems
  • Treat every call as if it’s worth a million dollars
  • Our goal is Education and understanding
  • Be the Leader your team needs
  • And many more…

These are some high points and I’ll do into more detail in each article.
The event shifted my views 180 degrees. My belief in the profession of network marketing is solid.

Let this sink in…You can have EXTRA spending money. That will build into EXTRA for you and your family. You will sacrifice some time, but it will be time used to build for something. Have time and money when you still young enough to have the energy to use them.

Are you on the outside or the inside?

We must remember to keep an empathetic view of what we are experiencing. Other people have their own way of seeing the world and what we are doing. When they judge what we do, don’t get upset. Just remember, they can’t experience what we are doing while on the outside. At the same time, don’t judge them for not understanding your situation. They can’t feel what we feel at this time because we are at different points in our life. Experience teaches more than we want to admit.
