I’m now 20 lbs down from my original 256.6. I’ve been using the Body by Vi Challenge to help eat properly and to get my food intake correct. This plan helps me control my eating and motivates me to follow through. Combined with my fitness goals and working out, this has been a major factor in being in some of the best shape of my life.

How often have we stopped ourselves from helping others because we worried about our feelings? So many times we create a story in our mind that talks us out of our greatness. Have No Regrets by doing the right thing every time to help others and expand our lives and theirs. Don’t let your self-limiting beliefs talk you out of changing someone’s future for the better.

Be The person you want to be. Don’t let your limiting beliefs stop you from being that wonderful Greatness you have inside. It is said, Hell is meeting the person you should have been, but didn’t decide to be. Have you met that person? I have. It’s upset me, but I’ve learned we have an “AND” life. He can have a great life AND I can have a great life. We can be charitable AND Rich. We can help others AND be well off. We can sacrifice AND have a great life. Our Goals are still there AND we can reach them.

Don’t let the trials and tribulations of life derail you from what you are building. Your family needs you to focus on the path that is in front of you to enlighten them. The path to a great future for them and you. But, if we let the sickness get in and the self-limiting beliefs in, the distractions can hurt you and your progress. As Winston Churchill said, “When you are going thru Hell…Keep Going.” Don’t take your eyes off the big picture and the long term. This is a marathon, not a sprint.

Happy New Year to everyone. Go out and make your life changes, but remember you must do them. Take action in your plans. There is greatness within all of you, but it only goes as far as you Act upon it. If you sit on your couch thinking about things, someone will come along and re-possess your couch. Get out there and make your life happen. Start those resolutions and never give up. 70% of the people who start a New Year’s Resolution stop in the first 3 weeks. Don’t be that person. Make a life change and stick with it. For things to change you must change.

Eric Worre’s GoPro Recruiting Mastery Convention in Las Vegas had Lisa Grossman. She’s been around our profession for many years and has earned the respect and admiration from people from all over the world and all manner of businesses. She says we have 3 jobs to do: Ask Questions, Listen, and Tell Stories. Everything else gets in the way. We can’t help anyone if we don’t know what is wrong and we can’t know what is wrong if we don’t listen to them. Telling stories shares with others what our company and team can do for them. It’s opens them up to a new possibility.

This is the overview for part of what Eric Worre taught in his section of the GoPro Recruiting Mastery Event held at the Mirage a few weeks ago. These are his 3 Steps to Building Confidence.
1. Understanding. This is the Validation we need to believe in our company and in our Profession.
2. Skills. These are the activities of talking to people, presenting, following up, and getting others starting. Learn them and your confidence goes up and builds Posture.
3. Programming. We all have either Good Programming or Bad Programming. Good Programming is when we Unlimited Belief in who we are and what we have. Bad Programming is the Self-limiting beliefs that tell ourselves we aren’t good enough or no one wants to follow us.
We can all have confidence: Build your Understanding, Learn the Skills, and Get thru the Bad programming.
